Chase denies hack behind sudden account drains

The banking giant says an internal glitch was responsible for zero balances, and not a security breach as some customers suspected.

JP Morgan Chase denied this evening that it had suffered a hack that many customers claimed had suddenly reduced their checking account balances to zero.

After discovering the apparently empty accounts via the Internet or mobile devices, many Chase banking customers turned to Twitter to express their frustration and show screen shots of zero balances. Other users were greeted with messages that their bank account balances were unavailable.

chit, it never occured to me, but then I had to get really stoned just to be able to acquire that FU attitute coming thru the door ;) tried not to be a dickhead mainly because its a small, local bank, never charged me a dime the whole time I've had it, and the whole bank is staffed by ladies....w00t ;)

Bank was slightly confused as to why?...I simply said,"Look whats happening in Cypress, look whats going on in Greece, Spain, Egypt...and if you think we're immune, then your institute here is delusional & I don't feel this is a safe place anymore, Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go buy something worth more than a Federal reserve note"

What kind of idiot would leave their money in such a system, one where it could be zeroed out at any time? Answer: An American idiot. A TV watching, sports following, party affiliated American.

Comment by gary lineberger on March 19, 2013 at 7:54pm: its like mike rivero says wheres the eleventh marble? when you ask for a loan and its approved. the federal reserve which is not the federal government , prints the money you borrow but never prints the interest owed. so when the banks quit lending like they have for the last 6 years repossessions are bound to happen

I have been warning friends, family and associates for years about pulling their money out of these Wall Street (Rothschild Affiliated) Banks such as Chase, JP Morgan, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, CitiBank, Barclays etc. Go local with your funds as in Community Banks & Credit Unions. Corporate Banks should be avoided like the plague.

They both had jobs, house (Medium bank loan), credit cards, nice furnishing, 2 cars, health and dental plan semi-annual vacations and all that was covered under the American Dream.

Nightmare came knocking one night at 4:30 AM when men and several women came diving thru their windows without opening them - mistake - they resisted by shouting and moving out of the bed.

Oh, they thought they were safe and well informed about government and their Rights which left them in this state of affiars. Where did they go wrong?
