I differ with you Marie. America in 2008 was at #35 for Free speech in the world. And it keeps falling.The amount of political prisoners in America is growing fast and the government says they can executed anyone at any time for not believing in their agenda. And our rights to religion has been infiltrated and marginalized to be put under the thumb of Government. Churches do not need to sign contract with the government to be non profit. It is a lie I have been fighting for almost twenty years.The problem Marie is they do not believe in peaceful solutions or individual rights towards the people. We do need to change the distorted system and by peaceable actions but don't expect them to abide by the same actions. Their reality and ours are not the same. It's their club and we are not invited or to share in the rewards. We just pay the bills and give them children for their wars. Look at the Blood line and Follow the money trail. I agree w/ everything said here but where to begin? In our town over the week-end, they made the protesters leave because of two reasons: one they didn't have a permit (whatever happen to the right to assemble) and second they (sheriffs office) stated the grp needed to have taken a $ 1,000.00 insurance policy on the land where they were protesting from!!!! And how about the right of free speech! It's truly a Police State in action. The grp got ACLU involved after the fact and they let this city gov't know whats what-well just have to wait and see.
