I agree. I used to get all my news through RSS, but my RSS feed service has become so unreliable do to browser issues that I have turned to Twitter. I can follow all the tweets from my mayor, governor, congressman, local news, as well as random local people. If I cannot access my Twitter account, I could potentially put my life at risk during a crisis situation.
