Wages stagnate because migrants consent to less favourable conditions from those that are available. Example- They will give up a days labour and work excessive hours on a 4 day week. Overtime rate is gone, likewise paid lunch breaks and industrial allowances.- (they're based on 40 hr 5 or 6 day weeks and apply to those who have Declined 4 day employment contracts) Migrants feel fearful saying NO ! and this is how wage stagnation starts for almost everyone. Always stand up for your rights workers and try to do the same for others.
