Derivatives are bets, on everything. It shouldn't exist, but deregulation of banks separating investment from retail opened the door to this scam.

( Derivative -"arrangement" or product whose value derives from and IS dependent on the Value of an Underlying Asset.) Anyone had to explain complex nature of this to the family ? I had to as I'ld bleated on about it, so eg... You buy car, insure it for 10k in case of loss, you pay Big premium to bank, they Love that, So much, that under cover of darkness your policy is sold to Ten other people- More Big Premiums! for greedy bank. Then one day you crash and bank has to pay out your 10k, Plus another 100k to everyone else. They Lose 110k !! - and recover $300 of it from the scrap metal merchant. Thats a derivative. Bank going d o w n.

Derivatives are the noose which now hangs fiat (no value) current(cies), and quantative easing had made good overture.

The answer is gold based money of value, but unlimited debt addicted corporate rulers will rather crash our lives than put limits on pillaging.
