I don't think people have to delete their accounts but they should learn how to use the security features and use common sense.  You shouldn't add people as friends if you don't know them, you shouldn't post that you're going on vacation and all your personal info and you shouldn't bore everyone with an update every 15 minutes.

I think I will delete my account.  It's a shame it has to be that way.  I was having so much fun with it and finding people from the old days.
