I used to work in the gas industry (endless tubing). We used to inject all kinds of things down the gas wells to free up the mud. I remember standing out in the cold sometimes 30-40 degrees below (celsius) standing in the mud that we blew up out of the well and my feet would get hot (right through my boots) from all of the hydrochloric acid and other goodies that would come back out of the well. Needless to say I didn't stick around to find out how long it would take to melt my boots. This is a very nasty industry. P.S. We used to work in the wheat fields of Alberta.

My Instincts Tell Me that Fracking Fluid is as Equal to
or as Nasty as the Dispersion Surfactants used in the
Gulf. These chemicals sound more like Toxic Waste
that would otherwise be very costly to deal with in a
Logical less harmful manner other than the storage or
proper disposal of dangerous chemicals.
