".. dying of typhus in the first few months of 1945" is consistent  with food supplies being halted by bombing. The prisoners were starving and became weak and sick, and easy victim for typhus.

There are better way to kill people than to wait for the camps to be full of epidemic typhus. A large number died after having been liberated, indicating the scale of the problems. We are to believe German did not know how to kill?

While footwoman Herta Bothe is presented as an "evil monster" .. those responsible for the bombing are still protected by media.

From 1941 to 1945 almost 20,000 Russian prisoners of war and a further 50,000 inmates died there,[3] with up to 35,000 of them dying of typhus in the first few months of 1945, shortly before and after the liberation.[4]

The camp was liberated on April 15, 1945 by the British 11th Armoured Division.[5] The soldiers discovered around 53,000 prisoners inside, most of them half-starved and seriously ill,[4] and another 13,000 corpses lying around the camp unburied.[5] The horrors of the camp, documented on film and in pictures, made the name "Belsen" emblematic of Nazi crimes in general for public opinion in Western countries in the immediate post-1945 period. Today, there is a memorial with an exhibition hall at the site. (source)

While the video is along the lines of:

All inmates were subject to starvation and epidemics.[12]

it is piece of cake to understand the real cause was Gemany being bombed to pieces. That explanation disappear in the video.
