Unfortunately, instead of being able to use "healthy organic strains", registered growers in Canada will probably be restricted to using State regulated seed banks (such as Bayer/Monsanto, who want to corner the Cannabis Market).
This is the bad side of this legalization because Bayer/Monsanto is planning or, already are developing GMO cannabis seeds. They won't remove the high effect but, will they will render marijuana's healing properties to be useless. Marijuana will following the same path of all GMO food: slow poison. It shall literally become "killer weed".
The last thing that the Cancer and Pharmaceutical Industries want, is for sick people to cure their cancer, diseases, and other ailments with a plant they can grow in their back yard, for free.
