From Reuters: OTTAWA (Reuters) - Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Wednesday admitted he should not be making stupid jokes in public after a quip last week prompted the scorn of conservative commentators in the United States and elsewhere.

During a town hall in Edmonton, Trudeau interrupted a woman after she used the word “mankind”, saying he preferred “peoplekind”. Critics accused Trudeau of being too politically correct.

The incident was the latest attempt at failed humor by the 46-year-old prime minister.

I only hope that some elderly Canadian, normally very quiet and mild mannered, reaches his limit, calmly puts his hat and parka on, shoulders his hunting rifle, and turns to his wife and says 'I may be late for dinner'.

Later he returns, removes his hat and coat, puts his rifle back in the stand and sits down for supper, listening as the media frenzy erupts as they announce that Trudeau's head has been turned into a canoe by a large caliber bullet.
