Many people think that the South wanted to kill Lincoln while it was people right in his midst in Washington who wanted him dead! The South had yet to feel the full fury of the Carpet Baggers from the North who made their suffering and homelessness even worse!

Fascinating, i love historical film footage! I've been trying to preserve some of them before they're no longer heard.

I've always wondered if Lincoln's assassination was as they said it was.
