Lucrative biohazard: DOD buys antidotes from well-connected company
Over the weekend, The Los Angeles Times released an investigative report that disclosed a government purchase of the antidote for anthrax. The bacteria can be deadly if not treated quickly and since September 11, 2001 the government has been stockpiling bio-defense drugs, but at the same time certain individuals have been profiting from these transactions.
