On 02/26/09 we found miles and miles of this evil webbing covering everything where the snow melted! I have never seen anything like this in over 40 years of going to Mt.Lemmon Az!
This started, from what we saw, right above Summerhaven Az and it went on for atleast a mile! We had to stay on the roadway or we would have been covered in it as it was completely covering the ground where-ever snow had stayed in the shade and remained for a week or two. I witnessed and filmed constant spraying in those weeks over Tucson as you can also see here on You Tube on my videos and other peoples! So whatever stuck to all the snow ......for some time......ended up being this webbing which literally covered miles of forest above Summerhaven! It is not spider webbs as we saw 0 spiders! This stuff broke very easily when I stuck a small twig in it, Plus it didn't stick very well at all and didn't stretch as spider webs do! I have never seen a spider make a web on top of snow period! But up at Mt. Lemmon we have pleanty of spiders, but you just don't see them in the winter at all! Not unless you go in the attic, and they aren,t active at all! So, I will get this webbing tested as I still have samples! Any suggestions for testing? I certainly don't have much money.
