They developedf what are known as "knockout" mice (mice in which a gene or genes are purposefully disabled) that didn't produce VMAT2. They all died.
I made drastic improvements on this method and used it to induce increased production of VMAT2 in myself. It was one of my favorite three proteins. I felt on top of the world, and people seemed to like me a lot better. It is definitely the enemy of tyranny. I shudder to think about not having any at all. Watch those mandatory vaccinations!
