They do not teach ancient north American Native Peoples Prehistory in public education .You have to go to college and take special classes for that where they do teach it . They mounds in Illinois are from what they call the Missisisipiean culture. The Cahokia Mound builders. The science of all the data is still being done .It has to be done before the info is distributed. most of it is meant for academics and not school childern. As I said much of the science work is still being done . There are many questions to answer and many mysteries to be solved / We know that in Mexico / South America and Peru there are things that science has yet to explain. There is a massive amount of data to be analyized before we know.
