Good point, S*A*.  I would send Him money if I had a job and a place to live and more that 12 cents and food stamps to M'name.

perhaps the statement was to generate donations and to project the true reality of the campaign status?

He just as well's to have thrown in the towel. Why on Earth he would show weakness now, after his delegate strategy was working so well, and after Mitty threatened him so...I will never know. I agree with IM... He is saying he will not participate in the largest Caucasus's to come is irresponsible and self-destructive.

"Moving forward, however, we will no longer spend resources campaigning in primaries in states that have not yet voted."

So let's say that he didn't really mean what he just said.  That, through some contrivance, Paul was only referring to primary states and not 'states that have not yet voted'.

You still don't send a statement to that effect and follow with "there's not enough money" for the rationale.  That is not someone who wants to win.  Looking to send a message to the GOP's convention in Tampa?  Maybe they will extend to you a Laurel and Hardy handshake.

He didn't have to say a damn thing.  Just keep working the delegates and the next money bomb.  The moment you make it an issue as to whether you will be campaigning in the rest of the states, the moment you lose.

I cannot imagine why anyOne would believe He would quit with so much going for Him now.
