My gun range is right out my back door. One of many good things about having 40 acres of woods on the other side of my back fence. In my area, I have been hearing a drastic increase of rounds being fired in rapid succession. My son in law and I are both locked and loaded 24/7 and there are many fire arms that we have ready access too. Albeit, I only own one REGISTERED fire arm.

Went out to the gun range this weekend and even the regular joes (well churched) are getting some nice hardware like $2000 AR-10's etc. Almost everyone I saw had a pistol and a carbine or main battle rifle. I don't know that they are buying more because they are on the same page as us but I think it's some sort of 100 monkey syndrome. With the economy failing and gun laws pending they are just getting it and buying gear.

I have a strong feeling that when it comes down to physical conflict, I will be like Benjamin Martin.

At least they are out in the open with it now theres no way people can say anymore that we're not in a police state or living under a totalitarian gov. True tyranny is the government being able to do anything it wants ... jail you without charge or trial forever, torture you and or kill you all with out any oversight (like it would make it better).

All this does for me is to motivate me to continue to get into shape, makes me realize more and more that this is likely going to come down to a physical conflict that the other side will start eventually as all totalitarian states do. I really don't get mad anymore.

And that is the main reason I attempt to use humor to deflect my anger...sorry if my sad attempts at humor pisses some people off but it is the best way I know to keep from exploding...I am sure the time is near when my pent up rage will have its uses..but not now.

Everyone should be livid over this. This is not freedom...

To tell the truth, I am beyond outraged.. I am livid with rage. There is an internal conflict raging withing me and has taken nearly all of my will power not to succumb to the irrational urges that keep tempting me. I am the type of person that if  I lose my temper and give into rage, things get destroyed. Therefore, I must always maintain control over it lest I destroy the wrong target. Anger management was very helpful to me in this regard.
