The most obvious explanation is most often the correct one.

The Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building, in Oklahoma City, was the one that Timothy McVeigh blew up with a truck packed with fertilizer, on April 19, 1995

The chemical compound ammonium nitrate, the nitrate of ammonia with the chemical formula NH₄NO₃, is a white crystalline solid at room temperature and standard pressure. It is commonly used in agriculture as a high-nitrogen fertilizer, and it has also been used as an oxidizing agent in explosives, including improvised explosive devices. It is the main component of ANFO, a popular explosive, which accounts for 80% explosives used in North America.

West Chemical Plant had 54,000 pounds of the chemical anhydrous ammonia on site, according to the Dallas Morning News. Anhydrous ammonia is three parts hydrogen to one part nitrogen and is made without water. As a fertilizer to boost plant growth, it is stored as a liquid under high pressure. In gas form, anhydrous ammonia can become explosive with the addition of water. There is speculation the water  firefighters poured on the initial fire may have detonated the anhydrous ammonia.

Unless I see proof of an energy light beam being directed, or proof of a helicopter launching a missle, I'm sticking with the Gay martian hypothesis ;)!

It was a UFO.  They are clearing the way for landing strips, for Gay Martians
