And Mr. Jefferson, I do. I maintain an open dialogue on a daily basis with the founder of the Orlando Tea Party, am a member of her grouop and she's a devout Christian and a militant Republican. I'm neither. Why?

Rather then ask about Tea Parties I would wonder why any serious Patriot would follow a fatally flawed document like the US Constitution but of course that would open a can of worms and expose people's lack of historic knowledge regarding their own country and I wouldn't want to do that so I probably shouldn't mention it.

Just curious...has anybody here been to a Tea Party or been involved with any of the grassroots organizations? Not the traveling express bus carnival show, not the self-promoting book tours by Beck et al, but does anybody actually possess a working knowledge of these groups?

The Tea Parties are still very real and many are not co-oped by the mainstream. My personal belief structure, as many of you might know, is nothing even closely resembling the beliefs of Tea Party members but I joined the Tea Party in Orlando to be able to debate with and dialogue with the members and I do just that with the leader of the Orlando Tea Party almost every day and she's a wonderful person, a devout Christian with a very positive outlook and her Tea Party, one of the largest in the nation, won't be easily compromised.

I love the statement " anything broadcast on CNN,NBC,ABC, (and I would add Fox) is not to be trusted.

I had an incident happen over ten years ago that was covered by the media - it was so worng and biased to sensationalize and get viewers to read and watch - it woulda been funny had it not been me. To quote from one little old lady on the Navajo Reservation " that is not our Mr. Cornfed" she knew me well enough to call BS...bless her heart and anyone else who calls BS just that...
