The Specials - Doesn't Make It Alright (1979)
The Specials reached number one on a few occasions in the U.K before the industry buried them. The band wrote a lot of pro-equal rights and anti-corruption songs, most popular being 'Ghost Town' (Governments leaving the youth on the shelf...) . They recorded Madness first single 'The Prince' and toured with Madness up to 1981 . This song from their first album is a slower song but with a message of racial unity which is desperately needed to this day...
Other hit songs were 'Too much too young' , 'Do Nothing', 'Free Nelson Mandela' , 'Gangsters' and 'Stereotype'
