Workers unions like any organizations tend to become corrupted but remain invaluable for counterbalancing investor's unions (corporations). This incident was complete bullshit of course but the fact remains that in my own field union employees make about $6.00/hour more than non-union employees with much better benefits.
Maybe if you got rid of corrupt investor's unions though, then you could get rid of the corrupt worker's unions as well.

2) ALSO -.
MY Constitution For The United States is enough to allow me to describe the United States as a POSITIVE force, in a world of 'negative' nations.
I am somewhat worried about the 'CONUS' bullshit, however.

The REAL test is to discover your true mettle, and mentality, in posing the question that you pose.
In the empire of the 1880's, the 'unionist' movement was useful, AT FIRST, but it was co-opted by the fabian socialists that were taking power over in England (the 'tories', they called themselves back then).
Over HERE, they wore several disguises, including 'the progressive party', who allied themselves with the VARIOUS mafioso groups from Italy, as well as Greece and the 'former' Jewish states of existence...up to, and including, WWII...

The TEST is:
Answer in the positive, or the negative:
1) Unions: GOOD.
(Oh, come on, a plus, or a bloody minus, chap!)
2) Americans BAD.
(THIS should be OBVIOUS to anyone who has been schooled in Fabian or Totalitarian Socialist economic strategies, AKA 'publick education')
