But one channel stands out - America's Fox News has been showing streets ablaze, violent clashes and firebombs thrown at security officers, but with one major problem - the images are not from Russia, they're from Greece!

That's right, it's not illegal. But I suppose the definition of 'news' has changed. There is an expectation that the 'news' is truth rather than entertainment. The biggest obstacle for the sheeple is accepting the fact that their govt and the media lies to them. When you show them specific examples, they rationalize it as 'mistakes'. If they can reach the point where they realize they are deliberately being lied to, they will finally wake up.

I think the main problem here is that its not illegal to feed sheeple bs even though it can be severely damaging to another person, company, region, country or continent for that matter. And with the eternal dumbing down of sheeple they dont have a chance to know whats the truth. Just think if you take an average joe american they probably cant even mention 10 countries on our small planet.

The BBC did the same thing back on 24 August, trying to pass off footage of Indian protestors, waving the Indian national flag, as Libyan's protesting the Gaddafi regime from Green (aka Martyrs) Square in Tripoli. - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_-lzI8I0_0
Obviously a basic knowledge of geography and national flags is not a requirement for BBC news staff.
The 'Powers That Be' evidently believe us to be that stupid, that they don't even make an effort anymore.

They've been doing this for decades. Another memorable one is the fake video of Palestinians dancing in the streets after 9/11.

This just proves that if youre sleeping while watching the main stream news, they just spin you around their thumb. Another "great" spin they pulled was in Iraq especially the clip with the Saddam statue where the media claimed 10.000s were gathered on the streets but it turned of it was more like 50-100 people.
