It happened so fast, but I agree, I see no need for the gun to come into play, or justifiable use of the weapon. The video was stunning, and it troubled me.

The officer ordered the driver to take off his seat belt, while opening the driver's car door. The driver closed the car door as the officer ordered the driver to remove his seat belt again. The officer then reached inside of the vehicle to grab the driver's seat belt, at this time he also reached for his gun. As he aimed the gun at the driver's head, the driver throws his arms up to block the gun and or signal surrender.
