It's hard being around your brainwashed family when you're awake. Especially during the holidays. Sometimes this happens. (this was filmed during Canadian thanksgiving last month, in case you're wondering)

Yes, it's a common dilemma and sometimes puts a strain on social gatherings. After listening to inane BS for about 15 minutes, I have to decide if I want to put my 2 cents in or just keep my mouth shut.

Great video....this captures a very common dilemma for those of us whom are awake when those who choose to be asleep. There is too much info out there for people not to know something is terribly wrong in the United States and abroad.

@Amerikagulag: I'm giving thanks for my friends and family and that I can buy some nice food. Don't know about the materialism part since gifts are not part of Thanksgiving.

I call it the Feast of Gluttony! Followed in short order by the Feast of Materialism.
Personally I find that giving thanks for the slaughter of untold numbers of Native Americans to be somewhat self-centered. So I choose not to participate in it.
