What always amazes me is that the public actually believe the statements made by individuals when they are on the election stump.
You just know that what is said by a politician is either a cunard, lie, falsehood or plain old b.s. the minute it's uttered.
Always has been that way and I believe it always will be. No matter who, or what, is leading your society. Most of them are lawyers and I can't recall meeting too many of them who did not know how to obstificate, obstruct, or bamboozle the majority of people around them using the power of the word.
