Where does civil disobedience end and mob rule begin?

Would you want people tearing up your property in the process of exercising their rights?

Why are they not storming the FED, demanding entry and "tearing down the wall"?

Hitchens and his ilk will continue to have their little debates, all carefully framed in a manner that excludes most of the people they claim to care about and most of the people who actually produce change. It worked at university and it works now. But it has little to do with either America or the left as it really is. something like the"occupy movement"

I fully support ANYONE'S right to protest but I also FULLY support private property rights. If the owners of the propert would not allow them the use of it, end of story, they were trespassing and in violation of the law.

"Dozens of Occupy Wall Street protesters were arrested Saturday after they scaled a chain-link fence or crawled under it to get to a church-owned lot they want to use for a new camp site.
Protesters used a wooden ladder to scale the fence or lifted it from below while others cheered them on. A man wearing a Santa suit stood on the ladder among others, as they ignored red "Private Property" signs."

In Texas, this would be legal grounds for the owner of said property to use lethal force on the trespassers.
