Why did the Baltimore riots seem like they were perfectly staged to be a television event? Images of police vehicles burning made for great television all over the planet, but why were there abandoned police vehicles sitting right in the middle of the riot zones without any police officers around them in the first place? Why was the decision made ahead of time to set a curfew for Tuesday night and not for Monday night? And why are Baltimore police officers claiming that they were ordered to “stand down” and not intervene as dozens of shops, businesses and homes went up in flames? Yes, the anger over the death of Freddie Gray is very real. Police brutality has been a major problem in Baltimore and much of the rest of the nation for many years. But could it be possible that the anger that the people of Baltimore are feeling is being channeled and manipulated for other purposes? The Boston situation only goes further to send a message from the POLICE and the rest of the fraternity of so-called law makers that; protesters bad, police are being unfairly victimized. 'They' need, and want situations like Boston, taking place, especially as they pertain to such sensitive subjects; racism and poverty, versus police (highly paid) brutality; murder; breaking spines, choking to death; filling full of 9mm bullets etc. - and 'they' keep on giving them more 'war surplus' (militarization of the POLICE) equipments.

The worst part of this is that it continues the myth that these police actions are somehow race based. They are not. Police have every reason to "profile" blacks in certain areas as they are committing 99% of the violent crimes. And the increasing violence is due in part to the fine training given in Iraq and Afghanistan--ex-military get preferential hiring in civil service & police.
Whites have higher conviction rates in courts than blacks--contrary to the myth. More police assaults take place against whites. Black neighborhoods were devastated by desegregation, when the big chain stores wiped out the neighborhood black businesses, leaving behind a legacy of drug addiction, crime and poverty. Black unskilled labor is no longer needed as it was during WWII and post war--U.S. industry was transferred offshore to cheaper labor zones. THAT--not racism--is the problem.

EXCLUSIVE: The Fourth Estate has been told that Freddie Gray’s life-ending injuries to his spine may have possibly been the result of spinal and neck surgery that he allegedly received a week before he was arrested, not from rough excessively rough treatment or abuse from police.
The Fourth Estate has contacted sources who allege that Freddie Gray received spinal and neck surgery a week before we was arrested, and was allegedly receiving a large structured settlement from Allstate Insurance. The surgery is allegedly related to a car accident in which Gray was involved.

This report, which includes screenshots of a settlement listed on the Howard County Circuit Court Records, apparently has just enough detail to ring true and was quickly picked up by rabid conservatives at the Free Republic in a now-deleted post cited by the Baltimore Sun.
From there it spread to Facebook and Twitter and other unfiltered news outlets, where you may have seen your more enlightened friends connecting the dots.

'Tis a sad day when one cannot trust the Post and 4th Estate on a story like this. Gray may have been banging his head and exhibiting the classic symptoms of lead poisoning and he DID file a lawsuit over that, i.e., claiming CNS damage. We are dealing with semantics here. And it's also possible, in addition to his preexisting condition, he did damage himself or cause himself damage with erratic behavior.

Just like LAPD in the LA riots. Stand down while innocent whites like Reginald Denny are getting their heads bashed in. (The Koreans had the sense to organize self defense--if whites had done that they'd be in prison now.)
Well, Baltimore police to be indicted. Why even have a trial? They must be guilty. Once again, in light of the preexisting condition of Gray, the officers are being overcharged. Which will probably mean an acquittal just in time for the Summer riot season. Why was the BLACK Baltimore police chief not removing the fiendish white killer officers from the force? Oh, some of the officers weren't white?
