In the early hours of the 10th of April, 2022, word had reached the press that the democratically elected prime minster of Pakistan, Imran Khan had been ousted due to the Pakistani parliament’s vote of no confidence. Key variables have been acknowledged regarding this event, all of which pertain to the state of Pakistan. Also acknowledged were statements made by Khan in the hours preceding his removal from his post. Without mincing words, this is an unsettling development because it is, without a doubt, a successful color revolution and/or coup, sponsored by the US at the expense and against the will of the country’s people. Shortly after the vote of no confidence videos surfaced online showing the people’s indignation clear as day with them hitting US flags with their shoes prior to setting them on fire. It is important to note here that not a single prime minister of Pakistan has served a full term, typically being removed from power by the military junta that has ruled Pakistan since its partitioning from India in 1947. This development is interesting because it is the first time that a vote of no-confidence has led to a prime minster’s ousting which, according to the average degenerate Bidenoid gives the illusion of democracy.
In reality, this is something that any onlooker could have seen at least a month in advance due to the fact that Pakistan is a neo-colony which is de-facto controlled by the US and the UK. Imran Khan’s removal from power is to be expected for reasons including but not limited to the nature of Pakistan’s oligarchs, Pakistan’s being under military rule, Khan’s friendly relationship with the Axis of Resistance (namely Russia) and most importantly of all, Khan’s unabashed refusal to allow the US to build military bases in Pakistan. This should make the statements of his opposition that much more concerning. They have listed Khan’s “damaging of relations with the US” and the US being where Pakistan exports to most as reasons for ousting Imran Khan. Two events should put into perspective exactly what this is, and I will describe them in chronological order.
The first preceded Imran Khan’s dissolution of the parliament prior to their first attempt at a vote of no-confidence. Shortly after his purchasing of Russian oil at a discount, he was approached by the junta. They moved to remove him from power at that moment itself, but wanted to provide the veneer of due process so he was left with three options. He was to either allow a vote of no-confidence, allow early elections or resign. It was known to the general public that something had transpired in the aftermath of Khan’s alignment with the Axis of Resistance to cause him to fear for his life. We now know to a certainty that this was the event. He chose the second option and dissolved the parliament to allow there to be early elections. This, naturally failed because he is loved and respected by his people and therefore, would have been likely to win the election with his party then occupying the newly opened seats in parliament. Instead, the MPs, faithful bootlickers to the US moved against him when told by Biden that “Pakistan would be forgiven” given Khan’s removal. The latter detail in tandem with Khan’s refusal to allow the US military a presence in his country and open refusal to capitulate to imperialist pressure is definitive proof that the west orchestrated his removal to maintain their stranglehold on Pakistan.
Throughout the history of this state, prime ministers have been deposed for protecting the interests of their people which can only mean standing in opposition to the hegemony of the US and UK. This is by design. Pakistan was only ever formed so the UK would not lose control over the entirety of the Indian subcontinent and a fascist state was established. Pakistan is by definition, fascist because fascism is the means by which oligarchs preserve imperialism. Pakistan is capitalist and (imperialism is its highest stage of capitalism due to absolute monopolies), the oligarchs of Pakistan assist the anglosphere in plundering their own people for a negligible chunk of the profits and there is a military junta that could crush any opposition to the rule of the comprador bourgeoisie. Pakistan does not enforce imperialism with fascism, but it certainly enforces the dominance of Pakistani compradors in service to imperialism at the expense of the masses. Imran Khan represented a decisive move away from compradorship by aligning with Russia which would have led to a shift in the economic life in Pakistan.
There would have been measures taken to empower the productive forces, the further establishment of infrastructure and the elevation of the masses at the expense of the ruling class and the goons it had in parliament. It should also be noted that many of these MPs were literal criminals, charged with corruption and made their votes while out on bail. Imran Khan never reached the point of being a serious threat to the fascists of the Pakistani parliament, but this is because fascism in an essential component to the very foundation of Pakistan itself. Khan correctly noted that the US would never have been able to dictate the affairs of its neighbor, India. Regarding India, there is now a looming threat of the US building military bases at her doorstep, also in response to India’s refusals to capitulate to the demand of the NATO fascists. It too does business with Russia on more favourable terms, purchasing munitions, oil, etc. and was not willing to allow the US to replace Russia as a supplier. The senile warmonger, Joseph Biden is playing a dangerous game in his attempts to consolidate NATO’s control over this region. The only hope for the independence, sovereignty and freedom of the South Asian countries is the decisive defeat of NATO imperialism.
