Congress members seen 'drinking' during late-night debate as the brakes are put on Obamacare leading government to brink of a shutdown
Names of those letting their hair down in the midst of pressing government business have yet to emerge.
The rumors of drinking came as Republicans voted to halt President Obama's plans to overhaul US healthcare. The move could lead to the first government shutdown in almost two decades.
The Republican-controlled House approved legislation early on Sunday imposing a one-year delay in key parts of the nation's health care law and repealing a tax on medical devices as the price for avoiding a partial government shutdown in a few days' time.
Even before the House voted, Senate Democrats pledged to reject the measure and the White House issued a statement vowing a veto in any event.
Republicans are pursuing 'a narrow ideological agenda ... and pushing the government towards shutdown,' it said.

So many of them come straight out of Wallstreet and into Congress I would be surprised if the ones who were drinking were not also among the few with enough decorum not to be slipping of to the bathroom to bang heroin.

I think we would have something going on that would really change things. I don't think it would take 2 yrs to get to them since their brain is already rotten and their skin stretched tight from plastic surgery. They all are as* bite sh*t heads.

If you or I walk outside the door intoxicated we are accused of being, in public intoxicated and arrested. But the people we pay with our tax dollars can leave the congressional floor reeking of booze, get in a car and drive to the closest liquor store, go in buy more liquor and then get back in their car and drive back. WHAT?????
Why have we the people let things get so out of control???
This is our land!! Most of us had ancestors fight and die for this land!!! Now we sit back and wait for government hand outs like we have no brains. What has happened to our self esteem, our backbones?
My people were here on this continent long before the white Europeans came and claimed our country for their own. I have lost many ancestors fighting to keep this continent free, losses from both sides of my family tree. I'll be damned if I go quietly. Will you?
