Since 9/11, and the subsequent militarization of the police by the Department of Homeland Security, about 5,000 Americans have been killed by US police officers. The civilian death rate is nearly equal to the number of US soldiers killed in Iraq. In fact, you are 8 times more likely to be killed by a police officer than by a terrorist.

I count number of Americans killed by Bin Laden since 2001 to zero (as he has been dead). But assuming "5000 / 8 = 625" Americans have been killed by "terrorists", that is only 0.015% of those who have been  killed by medicine during 10 years (625 / (400000 * 10))

Damn good point, so its the drug company executives that we should be chasing and arresting.  I can go for that!! Might as well drag along the execs at the FDA and dept of ag as well.

In defense of some law enforcement, there are still good cops out there. I have lived in communities amongst them, and I currently train with sheriffs and SWAT officers and they are all good guys far as I can tell.

Law Enforcement and the public are one and will not survive with out each other !

I worked for the City of Dallas Police Dept in Human Resources.  It was my job to teach the others in the department who to do background checks on all of the potential police officers.  I sent letters to all schools they ever attended as well to aunts uncles, parents, friends, etc. Why?

What they WERE looking for in their history. was the ability to "take care of yourself" if confronted by intimidation or danger.  The "severity and/or OVER REACTION...comes straight from the top....the Commander or the Captain.

There isn't a week for which I don't run across or report on abuse by law enforcement.  A few years ago we researched how many innocent civilians police killed annually.  The Justice Department, which tracks these numbers initially refused to tell us stating we had to contact each policing agency in the USA to get those numbers.  We used the Phoenix and Baltimore police as examples as each had high numbers of unarmed civilians killed by police.  Working with the AP and the Baltimore Sun the numbers came to an average of more than 600 deaths annually.

Aside from cops in NYC who like to shoot innocent grooms 40-60 times for holding a cell phone (yes, it happened) a high percentage of deaths were due to police pursuits of suspects where cruisers ran over people walking in cross walks.  Phoenix finally figured out it was stupid to chase a bank robber (the money was insured anyhow) when it put civilians in the danger zone.

There is no chance on earth a New York major will not be a Zionist. I read a report years ago about "terror exercises" being run every day in New York (to condition New Yorkers to the "Al Qaeda threat"). That is how they operate. Some will call it "mindcontrol". Al Qaeda is financed by Saud House. We are supposed not to know that.

Right and the house of Saud are not arabs, they are khazars just like the Israeli's and that is why they get along so well and cooperate on so much.  This was the brain child of the british back in 1921 when they first divided up the Ottoman empire and gave it to these so called arabs, who were not arabs.  Britain even knew back then, that they were going to put them in Israel as well,,,, way back then.  It was to create the conditions for the world wars they wanted down the road.  Funny how its all worked out as planned.

There's a big difference, I think, between "law enforcement officers" or "cops" and, Peace Officers.

I believe that the former are simply that; enforcers of policy, primarily orchestrated by a through and through corrupt, so-called "legal system".

Law enforcement organizations, are simply that; organizations whose jobs it is, to enforce (at a price you must pay, above and beyond your personal taxes) the many asinine laws, that HEAD OFFICE puts together - because the more stupid laws there are, the greater the chances that you or i will infringe upon one.

The cops, or as otherwise described; "corporate officers patrolling streets" are the officers of the corporation (Division), existing withing the greater corporation (City). In other words; a DIVISION of.

And those people (cops) in blue, are out there like quasi tax collectors (who will sooner kill you) to support the company the divisions (companies) 'they' work for...its not about the BLUE line; its about the bottom line.

I have made reference to this fabulous piece of information, which was posted by Jeff Wiitala, over a year ago now, and I am due to read it again too.

This is not only a situation that pertains to America; its happening in Canada too, where innocent people are either being gunned down by cops or being tasered and then dying due to heart failure related to the voltage of the tasers, or kicked and punched into comas, etc, etc, by cops.
