DOD Asks FCC to Reject Company’s 5G License Because of Risk to “National Security, Civil Service, and the Economic Benefit of the Nation”

Lawsuits, opposition, and warnings about the Federal Communications Commission’s forced widespread installation of 5G technology are ongoing. Now the Department of Defense (DOD) is loudly chiming in.

From Newsmax:

Defense Secretary Mark Esper has asked the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to deny a Virginia wireless company’s license to provide 5G mobile broadband service out of “national security, civil service, and the economic benefit of the nation” concerns.

“There are too many unknowns and the risks are far too great to federal operations to allow Ligado’s proposed system to proceed,” Esper said in a letter Monday to FCC Chairman Ajit Pai, Bloomberg News reports.

“This could have a significant negative impact on military operations, both in peacetime and war.

“I, therefore, strongly oppose,” Esper said, adding that the proposed service had “the potential for widespread disruption and degradation of GPS services” that rely on signals from space.

Esper’s letter was released Wednesday by the Pentagon, Bloomberg reports, and the FCC is not bound by the recommendation.

The FCC is supposed to protect the public by regulating the telecom industry.  They have been doing the exact opposite since long before the Trump administration.  It’s only getting worse with 5G.

In February telecom executives gave congressional testimony that they have NO scientific evidence that 5G is safe.  Warnings about risks have been issued by many experts for a variety of reasons IN ADDITION to biological and environmental risks.  The FCC keeps forcing its installation anyway – hence all the lawsuits filed against them (see 1, 2).
