FBI able to secretly turn on laptop cameras without triggering indicator light ‘for several years’

In a recent report by The Washington Post, it was revealed that the FBI has been able to secretly activate a target’s laptop camera “without triggering the light that lets users know it is recording” for several years.

While this may be surprising to some, it really shouldn’t be. Thank you joe for that information. I was not sure.

That what I do.. a small black square of electrical tape over the laptop camera. Especially corporate issued work laptops.

Glad I was not the only one, LOL.

HA!!!  SIMPLE!

Another pro for older models is they have older software and hardware which is incompatible with the latest "main core" consolidation centers. When the old phone becomes "legacy", its on the brink of being outdated and ignored because the cost of maintaining software to extract data from it and insert into the central core becomes higher and higher and eventually completely incompatible.

They are pushing HDTV cheap as fuck now.. wonder why? SPYTV.

I don't know about anybody else...but that cartoon really creeps me out. I got chicken skin when it loaded, actually made the hair on my arms stand up. Ugg

I would think it would be on the screen somewhere. But not sure. I am not a techie for sure.

Going in as DS said for the mic would also work would it not?
