Good News... we no longer have to migrate to the Ning 3.0 platform
Hello all,
Yes, things will be staying the same here on 12160 and that includes the video section. I just found out today that the forced migration has been suspended. Operation Ning 3.0 has been canceled.
I won't go into too many details, but I guess that many members/owners have been protesting this forced move for quite some time and their protests didn't go unnoticed. Unfortunately, Ning could fold in the aftermath of the troubles caused over this. Let's hope that is not the case!
Our bills will be paid for the year and we'll still be able to rock on for now none the less.
And yet again, thanks for all the donations and support from members! We appreciate all the help that has come our way. You all rock!

Yep, Ning still sucks but do we have any other options? I'd love to move off of ning but it takes a lot of coinage to build a new website. Ultimately, that's what we'd like to do in the future, especially with the uncertainty of not knowing if Ning is going to be around for much longer. Damned if you do... damned if you don't!

Well sweets, it is a good thing because we no longer have to go along with a forced migration by our hosting site Ning. We would have lost our vid section along with other functions on the new platform. So... it's good that things will stay the same.
But, there is a little bad or should I say uncertainty about how long our hosting site, Ning will be around. They are dealing with a lot of legal troubles as of late and it may sink them. So... for now things are alright for 12160 but for the future, there are a lot of unknowns.
And thanks for wanting to help us out sista! You've been around these parts since he beginning and we appreciate you more than you will ever know. Keep rocking on... much love :)
