“I work with a team of the best hackers on the planet,” McAfee wrote in an op-ed on Business Insider. “I will, free of charge, decrypt the information on the San Bernardino phone, with my team.”
On Wednesday, Apple rejected the FBI’s request “to build a back door to the iPhone” used by one of the San Bernardino shooters. The iPhone 5C, used by Syed Rizwan Farook, has an auto-erase function which destroys all of its encrypted data if it detects a hacker.
Apple said on Wednesday that it would appeal a California judge’s order to help prosecutors unlock the encrypted iPhone. The FBI called it "reasonable technical assistance," stressing that it would only apply to San Bernardino case.
“This is a black day and the beginning of the end of the US as a world power,” McAfee wrote in his piece, which reads like a kudos to Apple’s Tim Cook, who refused to assist the feds.

Once the phone is "cracked" the path will lead right back to the FBI, I suspect. Or, since Farook had nothing to do with the false flag other then getting to be murdered, will allow the FBI to plant the necessary incriminating 'evidence' into the phone, and as many other iPhones as is required to make the incident seem real.

Hey there,
Of course they did.. I'm not surprised at all actually..I used to be one of them.
The issue is not of the phone but of the laws surrounding such phone and prohibiting 'legal' access...We did that all the time.. Before the incident is even fully understood by forensics, us techs in the back have that thing backed up and our super-computed routines running. With a little common sense you can have it done by lockdown. Hell yes! Gives more time for coffee in the morning before the conference when the gear is ready, the report printed and the access established.. Suuure would have been nice if that was legal, then we wouldn't have to be so hush hush about it.
If they say "don't touch it" (usually:oops, too late..) we delete our work and continue F'g off with whatever pops up. For the latter we present the report and forward it to hundreds of people on the big brother prescribed mailing list before noon. It was always nice to shine..its called job security. Got to love those 0 days, they're better than any!
FBI, pf! plant...ha! These guys rely on scraps from the digital table.. old forensic tech, and that about covers it.
Those guys are better at making things go away.. They simply process anything they want gone so many friggin times that it is an acceptable loss in comparison to the numbers of times the items were handled as a whole or not. Its a calculated and very legal loss so they get excused. You just have to know how to play the game enough to stay afloat and i promise that the players have not one thing to do with making or changing the rules.
Statistics and laws that include statistics are pure brahman... They are fingering the evidence away or making it obscure by over interpretation or timed release of information..
Where the path leads back to will just dissolve in paperwork and bureaucracy. Hot Potato!
Believe me folks, this apple has already been eaten.

That line was cheesy..don't want to reach for the arrows so it stays. Enjoy!
