Indiana guardsman stopped for speeding in Madison County had 48 bombs, prosecutor says

An Indiana National Guardsman was arrested outside Columbus on New Year’s Day after a state trooper found nearly 50 bombs and the blueprints for a Navy SEAL training facility inside his car, the Madison County prosecutor said yesterday.

Andrew Scott Boguslawski, 43, also had a remote-control device to detonate the bombs, Madison County Prosecutor Stephen Pronai said. Boguslawski’s civilian job is as a groundskeeper at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center in south-central Indiana. Prosecutors could not say definitively yesterday whether the blueprints in his car were for the facility where he worked.

Boguslawski also had a bulletproof vest in his car, Pronai said.

“He said something to the trooper about making a bomb vest,” Pronai said.

Lt. Col. Cathy Van Bree, a spokeswoman for the Indiana National Guard, said Boguslawski is a specialist in the guard who does intelligence analysis and has top-secret clearance.

Pronai said Boguslawski, who is from Moores Hill, Ind., appeared to be heading to Indiana when a state trooper clocked him going 85 mph in a 70 mph zone on I-70. When the trooper came back to the car to give Boguslawski a ticket, he saw the handle of a gun between his legs.

The trooper ordered Boguslawski out of the car and called for backup. Investigators found three more guns in the car — all loaded — and 48 bombs. They also found material to make more explosives.

Pronai said most of the bombs were small. He said investigators from the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives have searched Boguslawski’s house, and that local and federal investigators are trying to determine whether Boguslawski planned to attack the military facility. They are also combing through a computer, cameras and GPS found in his car.

Boguslawski is charged in Madison County with one count of manufacturing explosives, a second-degree felony. A preliminary court hearing is scheduled for Friday. He is being held at Tri-County Jail in Mechanicsburg in lieu of a $1 million bond.

MOORES HILL, Ind. – The Indiana man arrested during a traffic stop outside Columbus after troopers found a cache of bombs and guns inside his van told investigators that the weapons were for training exercises, according to court documents connected with his case.

The man, Andrew Scott Boguslawski, 43, wrote in a statement that the gun that prompted troopers to search his van was a prototype used for training.

It looks like all the reports on this are less than 24 hours old. Wonder why it was almost a week before it broke. The best case is that this guy is a nut and made it to the rank of "specialist" because the govt is just stupid, and but for being pulled over, would have done who knows what.

Averted false flag? Some resistance faction?

The Indiana National Guard probably should have made no comment rather than giving the info they did- intelligence analyst with top secret clearance!? Jesus CHRIST!

So many procedural things going on here! I'd like to be a mouse in the corner at the prosecutors office.

Only new details let out of the prelim:

Investigators said in court on Friday that there were more explosives in the car than initially reported. In total, law enforcement officers recovered 58 small improvised initiators, 25 improvised explosive devices, a medicine bottle weighing 1.5 pounds filled explosive materials and four additional explosive devices that did not have fuses. Also in the car, Boguslawski had a remote initiator and several loaded guns including an AR 15 sniper rifle.

Prosecutors said they know that Boguslawski made the devices found in his car, but they are still trying to work out where exactly the bombs were manufactured and what he intended to do with the arsenal.

At the time of the traffic stop he told troopers that he was traveling through Ohio on his way home from his father's home in Pennsylvania. He had blueprints for an unidentified building in the car with him when he was arrested.

Boguslawski had a Indiana CCW permit in the car as well, but troopers do not believe it's authentic.

Now I see something else that doesn't seem right. An "AR 15 sniper rifle...?" Seriously? Maybe it's just me, but a .556 is not a round I would use for sniping.
