Is the Romney campaign using subliminals in their ads?
Folks, this is genuinely weird. I received a message from a reader informing me that certain teevee ads for Mitt Romney contain mondo-bizarro "extras" that pass by at hummingbird speed. Be warned: This investigation gets into some very unsettling areas.
Look carefully at the ad embedded above. (Yes, I know that this may not be pleasant duty for some of you.) At the 1:01 mark, you can see -- if you are watching for it -- a strange flash. Following my reader's tip, I went through that shot frame by frame. (To do a frame-by-frame search using GOM Player, pause the video, then hit the 'f' key. If you use VLC Player, follow the directions here.) Here's what I found:

That is bizarre. I wonder what that message was supposed to mean? Such a good thing that the technology is readily available now to flush these things out into the open.
It would be really fascinating if somebody analyzed the Obama 08 campaign ads for subliminals, wouldn't it? I wish somebody would do that. I'm not technically talented enough to do it myself.

thanks for pointing out the obvious-- I didn't look that far before. I thought I'd seen enough at the first glance, and Suzie's sentiments describe my reaction well. I have a low threshold for campaign ad rhetoric. I haven't even owned a tv for years now as it made me so damn angry. I'm also from Mass, and thus fed up with seeing Romney's smug lying mug on the screen many moons ago.
I still want to know what the subliminals in the Obama 08 campaign were- has anybody flushed them out? Or did I miss that part too?

I hate these F@k*N Mo(%@F*&er's .... they can all rot in the hell... I don't know if there were subliminals all i saw was A F*%N liar.. selling american flags, parades, picnics, agriculture that doesn't exist,cemeteries of dead soldiers and a well starched Marine who is the front man for there death machine ... Glorification of death and an american dream that is just that a dream .. and to top it off this guy who has lived a privaleged life say he's been there ... where O'Romey ?? he wouldn't last one night in my house.... they all make me sick .. so maybe i am ammune to there subliminal MK bull Sh*t because i know who they all are. They are all criminals who will do anything to hold on to power and keep all of us the people who make it possible there slaves in an evil system that still sends tribute to a nazi lizard Queen. The are satanic and do not defend the constitution never mind protect and defend our individual rights! They have no scruples and have no intention of ever giving us that sappy ass 50's version of america EVER AGAIN !! Who are these people who are holding on to this american illusion that may have been once.. It is a powerful delusion ..the bible says that at the end of mans rule there will be a great delusion ... i don't know.. one day at a time i guess. I never thought i would be this jaded, i was an all american girl. Cheerleader, blonde hair blue eyes waved my flag on the fourth of July and loved my country because we were the land of the free and the home of the brace. We were the good guys. I don't know who we are anymore... But we are becoming the land of the survivalist and the home of the prepper .. we will not give up our guns!!

she can come w/ me, with or without that Canon, she's only dangerous if clueless on use and knowledge of a weapon, my dad's a gunsmith so I got edumacated early. She can tote that 80lb launcher all day long....just don't tell me to slow down or help carry it ....lol...shoulda gotta 2lb glock and a shoulder strapped .40 rifle like me. I just hope she knows how to aim that thing @ those drones......ϖѾТ
