More powerful police, weaker civilians
The police, country wide are getting more and more powerful now. First, the disregarding and trashing of the rights to Miranda rights, and the right to a lawyer/attorney. Now local and state police forces nation wide are being overly armed, and guess who's paying for their new toys, that will be used against you and me.... OF COURSE, WE ARE. http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachusetts/articles/2009/05/29/... and it's not just in Boston, I have a friend who works for the local police here in California, and he was telling me they got a bigger federal pay list, and a huge check from the Federal gov't. to "upgrade" their current supplies and vehicles.

I was sent another E-mail yesterday by my friend who works in the local police precinct and was very alarmed when he said in the E-mail that there have been more and more people showing up to his place of business in black suits with DHS brief cases. Also, he said that more police have been showing up wearing these types of badges. http://www.greaterthings.com/News/federal_police.htm Not looking good.
