(National Sentinel) SO Dishonest: POTUS Donald Trump has repeatedly called the fake news establishment media an enemy of the people, and while that makes them chafe and lose their minds, they keep proving him right on a daily basis.

The Washington Post is the latest to demonstrate it hates America and in particular, those who voted for our president — so much so its editors and reporters are willing to misrepresent a story to create more hate and division in our country.

On Wednesday the paper ran a story about a woman who attacked a 91-year-old Hispanic man with a brick.

At one point during her attack, she yelled at the man, “Go back to your own country!”

Well, that HAD to be a Trump supporter, right?

Wrong.

The woman who attacked the man was black. And she wasn’t wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat, either.

Here is the suspect, 30-year-old Laquisha Jones:

Readers of the story would never know that critical detail until four paragraphs in:

The Fourth of July fireworks display was just beginning when Erik Mendoza realized that his 91-year-old grandfather was missing. Thinking he might have gone for his daily walk, Mendoza wandered around his Los Angeles neighborhood searching for him.

What he found was a bloodstained sidewalk.

Mendoza said his grandfather, Rodolfo Rodriguez, a permanent resident of the United States, had been attacked with a brick and taken to the hospital with a broken cheekbone and two broken ribs.

An eyewitness later told The Washington Post that Rodriguez had accidentally bumped into a young girl while walking on the sidewalk. The child’s mother — a black woman — then pushed the elderly man to the ground and repeatedly bashed him in the face with a concrete brick while yelling, “Go back to your country,” the eyewitness said.

The headline: “Woman arrested in assault of 91-year-old Mexican man who was told to ‘go back to your country.'”

Normally omitting a detail like an assailant’s skin color wouldn’t even matter.

But these aren’t normal times, and the Post has not behaved like a normal news outlet since Trump was elected.

The Daily Caller made the distinction and pointed out the hypocrisy:

The disgustingly dishonest fake news media is doing the work of the American Left in trying to keep Americans at each other’s throats, perpetually warring with each other, and angry.

If that’s not acting like an enemy of the people, then nothing is.
