Nancy Pelosi apparenly thinks there are fundraising dollars in the fake news that President Donald Trump fired Special Counsel Robert Mueller. On Friday, the House minority leader sent an outraged email to supporters that was headlined “Mueller FIRED.”
But as the Washington Examiner noted, potential donors had to read the fine print to realize that the country hadn’t exactly reached the precipice of a constitutional crisis.
Nonetheless, Pelosi said she was almost too angry to ask for money.
“I’m so furious I can barely write this email. President Trump is inches away from firing Robert Mueller and derailing the entire Russia investigation.”

That wasn’t true either. Last Thursday Trump had made it clear that he had no intention of dropping the axe on Mueller.
“If I wanted to fire Robert Mueller in December, as reported by the Failing New York Times, I would have fired him. Just more Fake News from a biased newspaper!” Trump tweeted.
That didn’t impede Pelosi who raged about how Republicans were conspiring with Trump to enervate the Mueller probe. She got to the point of her missive and suggested furious supporters could send in their donations to fix these GOP representatives and “kick each and every one of them out of office.”
For good measure, Pelosi suggested the Republicans are not only “jeopardizing our democracy,” but “they can’t be trusted either.”
