Well the vote on the Senate’s immigration bill brought about a result as expected. Following the cloture vote on Monday, it was all but assured that the bill was going to pass the Senate. However the 68-32 vote didn’t reach the 70 votes Amnesty supporters had hoped for in order to put pressure on the House to pass the bill. Though the senators were admonished by Vice President Joe Biden to refrain from expressing approval or disapproval, the senators ignored it chanting “yes we can,” which is not only a reference to the Obama campaign slogan, but hints at the Aztlan movement.

Fourteen members of the GOP were turncoats in the vote, siding with Socialist Democrats. The only “No” votes came from Republicans. Here’s the list of turncoats in the GOP who voted to sell America out to illegals and put them ahead of American citizens:

Alexander (TN), Ayotte (NH), Chisea (NJ), Collins (ME), Corker (TN), Flake (AZ), Graham (SC), Hatch (UT), Heller (NV), Hoeven (ND), Kirk (IL), McCain (AZ), Rubio (FL), Murkowksi (AK)

Senator Bob “Underage Hooker and Philanderer” Menendez (D-NJ) said that senators should “Do the right thing for America and for your party. “Find common ground. Lean away from the extremes. Opt for reason and govern with us.”

Arizona Republican Senator Jeff Flake, who constituents are looking to recall along with John McCain, said that persons who have broken the law to get into the country must “pass a background check, make good on any tax liability and pay a fee and a fine” in order to seek legal status.

How about we start treating these people as criminals rather than rewarding them as though they’ve done something good? This is simply madness!

Both of these Senators spoke about their “personal experiences”; Menendes referencing his mother being from Cuba and Flake recalling working alongside illegals. The problem is that America’s laws aren’t to be based on their personal experiences. They are to be based on justice and frankly every single Democrat and Republican who voted in favor of this bill should be removed from office and frankly, we should consider trying them as traitors to the people of the United States for approving what is nothing more than an invasion of the United States by foreigners. Yes, you can quote me on that.

Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL) expressed some sense in his opposition to the bill. “We will admit dramatically more people than we ever have in our country’s history at a time when unemployment is high and the Congressional Budget Office has told us that average wages will go down for 12 years, that gross national product per capita will decline for 25-plus years, that unemployment will go up,” he said. “The amnesty will occur, but the enforcement is not going to occur, and the policies for future immigration are not serving the national interest.”

In fact, he and Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) dueled in closing remarks on the Senate floor:

For now, House leaders are signaling that the bill is dead on arrival.

House Deputy Whip Rep. Peter Roskam (R-IL) says passing the Senate bill is a “pipe dream,” while Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) claims that the House won’t even hold a vote on the Senate Amnesty bill.

However, the Republican leadership in the House can’t be trusted either. All I have to do is utter the words “fiscal cliff deal” and you should get my point. In fact, Boehner has indicated they will draw up their own separate bill.

“We’ll do our own bill, through regular order and it’ll be a bill that reflects the will of our majority and the people we represent,”
said Boehner.

Boehner didn’t elaborate on details either. The Associated Press reports:

Boehner declined to say if there were circumstances under which he could support a pathway to citizenship, but he made clear that securing the border was a priority.

“People have to have confidence that the border is secure before anything else is really going to work. Otherwise, we repeat the mistakes of 1986,” he said, referring to the last time Congress overhauled the immigration system.

Rep. Nancy Pelosi of California, the House Democratic leader, also said he favors a bipartisan approach. At the same time, she noted that Democratic principles for immigration include “secure our borders, protect our workers, unite families, a path to legalization and now citizenship for those” without legal status.

Now that the Senate’s amnesty drama is over, we’ll move on to the House’s. I suggest getting in touch with your representatives and telling them that you are oppose to amnesty, rewarding illegals, and that you are in favor of them following the Constitution and protecting the border. You can do so by clicking here.

There goes the neighborhood!!

I knew we had to stop this recent pattern of people going back home. They have to stay here and vote for Hillary..

This monstrosity of Bill is now Dead on Arrival in the House of Representatives.

Boehner said he will not bring Senate Bill to the floor.

"The House is not going to take up and vote on whatever the Senate passes. We're going to do our own bill through regular order, and it'll be legislation that reflects the will of our majority and the will of the American people," said House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio. "And for any legislation, including a (final bill), to pass the House, it's going to have to be a bill that has the support of the majority of our members."
