Got dirty looks at Mal Wart and Home Depot (for the first time) from those who, unlike me, were wearing masks. Some older, some not. At Mal Wart, there seemed to be a thousand new cameras, including at every register, focused on one's face. In addition, there were new signs on the floor specifying which direction one is to go down each aisle.

Got a very contentious tone from some (formerly friendly) older neighbors when I mentioned that the "test" is for an (alleged) general marker of lung inflammation, not antibodies or a specific virus.

I think enough of the people are buying this hook, line and sinker to cause the thinkers among us great trouble. But that's the usual case.
