A suspicious substance has been found in the mail room of a US naval building in Arlington, Virginia. All personnel have been evacuated from the building as a precaution, according to a Navy statement. It comes just one day after a letter addressed to President Barack Obama was intercepted and found to contain ricin during a preliminary test. Forty-five year old Paul Kevin Curtis, from Mississippi, was arrested in connection with sending the letter. Curtis was also arrested under suspicion of sending a ricin-laced letter to a US senator, which was shown to contain the deadly poison in a laboratory test. He is also believed to have sent a ricin-laced letter to a Mississippi official.
