T.S.A. huh ? Armed VIPR squads conducting sweeps at sporting events, music festivals, rodeos, highway weigh stations and train terminals
WASHINGTON — As hundreds of commuters emerged from Amtrak and commuter trains at Union Station on a recent morning, an armed squad of men and women dressed in bulletproof vests made their way through the crowds.
“Our mandate is to provide security and counterterrorism operations for all high-risk transportation targets, not just airports and aviation,” said John S. Pistole, the administrator of the agency. “The VIPR teams are a big part of that.”
With little fanfare, the agency best known for airport screenings has vastly expanded its reach

The TSA thugs and morons are bad enough, but last time I took international flight, I was shook down in the jet way by the Border Patrol with a money sniffing dog. They are now more worried about you escaping with your money than drugs or bombs.

Recently went on a domestic flight inside Japan and was delighted that we didn't have to take off our shoes or even our belts. Bottles containing liquids were examined but then allowed on board when they passed the screening test. Compare that to the last flight I took to Japan from the UK when we had shampoo and a can of raspberries stolen from us by the scumbag security guards. Hope the raspberries fucking choked them.
