The hunger strike at Guantanamo and the promises of Obama
The hunger strike in the prison has gone on for 100 days. The United States and President Obama are in the worst possible way dealing with the issue. It is known that 90% of the detainees were never officially charged with any crime. After five years of government, it is past time for the president to fulfill his campaign promises. Last Friday (17th) marked the 100th day since the beginning of the hunger strike at Guantanamo Bay, which recaptured international attention to the prison that President Obama promised to close when trying to get elected five years ago.
Military officials said 102 of the 166 prisoners are participating in the strike. Lawyers for the prisoners say that number is close to 130.
Since the hunger strike began 100 days ago, international groups, including the European Parliament, the Commission on Human Rights and the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, and several nations with prisoners at Guantanamo pressured the Obama administration to release the detainees or close the prison.
Here are four of the most disturbing facts about the situation in Guantanamo.
1. The torture of forced feeding
Thirty of the 166 prisoners held at Guantanamo are being forcibly fed - a practice that is considered torture and a violation of international law by the human rights office of the UN. Earlier this week, the ACLU (abbreviation for "American Civil Liberties Union"), and also a considerable number of human rights organizations sent a letter to Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel, highlighting the order on forced feeds at Guantanamo.

I mean you can't just not have kids anymore, because there is nobody to support the old folks. So you have to just kill the people and you have two ways to do it. The rich go into their mountain resorts and the others stayed outside and those idiots don't care. They'll destroy the earth to get what they want. So they might lock themselves up and drop a few nukes and destroy the earth and they stay in the mountain resorts for 1,000 years and come out and everything would be great. If the Sun went out and earth dropped to 300 below they could survive under those mountains for hundreds of years, All they would need would be food, water and fuel to run shit and they could have stored down there10 billions in gas and a away to even grow food. Everyone outside would be done. Or they might force you to take a saline solution and kill you that way,

They have been poisoning and killing hundreds of millions the past 500 years. They've probably killed 500 million. Just think how many would be here now. They look at things differently. They know in 50 years there will be 12 billion If there was only a billion now people could just have a couple children, but even if China adheres to only one child their population grows by 8 million a year. Our only option is say screw it and put our tools down and refuse to play their game.
