Commentary: The following articles represent only a fraction of the total picture outlining THE NWO Conspiracy to disable and reduce the effectiveness of U.S. troops that has apparently been planned since at least the early 1960s, or worse yet, put into effect in the 1960's but planned long before.   The United States as a whole people is the last bastion that could remotely stop the rise and formation of the One World Government, Religion and currency.   It is now too far intrenched to stop; however, this will not be the play they will present.   The Illuminati owns both sides of this conspiracy.  Side one represents the Satanic side, evil and linked to the evil Illuminati and bankers.  Side two is the Luciferian or alleged good side as they would have all to believe.   The Luciferian and Satanic sides are one and the same but playing a salt and pepper, or "good cop" to "bad cop" scenario.    Its called the Hegelian Dialectic or a form of a dialectic.

The U.S. has covertly experienced three planned military coups from 1933 to 1974; with a fourth one planned to take place in December 1999.   Non of these happened due to hero's and circumstances.    You won't find any of these events in our history books.   Prior to the US State Dept/Japanese elites planned Pearl Harbor, FDR on March 4, 1939 confirmed plans to use US troops against US citizens.     In the 1990's there was a  questionnaire of about 40 to 46 questions given to a select number of US troops with one question in particular, asking whether or they would fire on American citizens and another question asking whether they would wear the Blue Beret of the UN.  The answers were major that they would not fire on Americans unless protecting their own lives.  Since the 1998 time frame the insider government has been allowing the infiltration of UN troops nationwide to join in the MJTF.   This post is only a sampling of the overall plan.

June 1932 – A bonus army of thousands of tired unemployed veterans and their families arrived that month in Washington demanding a federal bonus promised them by law, but not payable until the 1940s. They had traveled thousands of miles in battered jalopies, trucks, and wagons; many had even walked. And when Hoover wouldnt even receive them, they pitched tents, erected shacks, and slept in the capitals parks to petition Congress. As soon as Congress adjourned after refusing to grant the marchers any relief, Hoover made a show of force. On July 28 a police attempt to evict some of the squatters resulted in the killing of two veterans. Hoover then called in the Army.  Army Chief of Staff General Douglas MacArthur, who described the marchers as a mob & animated by the essence of revolution, delayed the use of troops only long enough to have his swagger stick and medal covered uniform arrive from a nearby fort.

Aided by Colonel Dwight D. Eisenhower and Major George Patton, MacArthur ordered tanks, four troops of cavalry with drawn sabers, and a column of steel helmeted infantry with fixed bayonets to enter downtown Washington and advance on the unarmed veterans. From Pennsylvania Avenue, MacArthurs proud army marched across the Anacostia bridge, thousands of veterans and their wives and children fleeing before them, and advanced on their shanty village, lobbing tear gas bombs and setting its shacks and tents afire. An infant died from the tear gas, an 11-year-old boy was blinded for life, and many veterans were wounded. MacArthur responding to a reporters claim of having seen a cavalryman use his saber to slash off a veterans ear, explained, somewhat amused, that that was quite impossible. You dont slash with a saber, he told the press, you lunge. And striking the correct pose for photographers, he demonstrated the proper thrust.

That night, from the windows of the White Houses Lincoln Room, Hoover watched the red glow from the burning camps in the southeast and retired. The next day the press was informed the President was pleased.Such crude brutality only spurred desertions already underway in Hoovers ranks, even among leading Republicans. [Zilg, Gerard Colby. It might be noted that they had demanded immediate payment of bonuses due them according to the Adjusted Service Certificate Law of 1924. They were called the Bonus Army and were led by Walter W. Waters, a former Army sergeant, and encouraged by an appearance from retired Marine Corps Major General Smedley Butler, who had considerable influence over the veterans, being one of the most popular military figures of the time. The bonus, however, wasn't due to be paid until 1945; and a few days after Butler's appearance, the marchers were by decree of President Herbert Hoover removed, their camps destroyed by US Army cavalry troops under the command of General Douglas MacArthur.[ Business Plot; From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia]

[June 1932 - Burned out veteran’s homes in Shanty Town, to prepare them to run a coup,  Then entice US. General to march on Washington, the U.S. Capital to take over using the 500,000 disgruntled Vets.]

July 1932 to November 1933 – Good timing for an actual planned Coup of the American Government by American big business by attempting to recruit a Major General Butler in the U.S.M.C.  as the commander.  This true to life plan involved a very colorful character named Major General Smedley Butler of the USMC.  He was approached by certain wealthy capitalist from the United States to lead a revolution to overthrow the government and establish an American Fascist dictatorship.  He was even tempted by this offer of $60,000.  Three men, representing a body of planners, proposed to General Butler a plan to seize the White House with a private Army of 500,000 very disgruntled veterans, hold FDR prisoner, and get rid of him if he refused to serve as their puppet in a dictatorship they were going to control.   Do a search on Butler and discover what he said about war and what he knew already.  He asserted that the military really served the role as a collection agency for big bankers.  The Senate munitions investigating committee confirmed this assertion in 1934.   Major General Butler had won two Congressional Medals of Honor, and had been involved in many campaigns.  This committee confirmed that; remember this word; “Standard Oil”, along with United Fruit, the sugar trust, the big banks, had been behind most of the operations he had lead.  Do another search to find the McCormack-Dickstein Committee that investigated Butler’s charges.  They confirmed his allegations.   There are other folks that believe that Butler was maybe being set up, and that this incident was actually going to be the means that these big businessmen and FDR was going to use.  Butler would lead this private Army to DC, this action would have resulted in FDR declaring a national emergency and imposing martial law and being supported by the American people.  It was planned and would have succeeded, however, Butler, being a Marine in true form, revealed the plot and FDR had to be happy just being a President.  The investigation went lame and just disappeared from sight.  Among the powers that be, it was decided that the main way to recover and still achieve this goal was to involve the U.S. in a war.  Note that in 1927 was the start of Standard Oil supporting Germany by refining the oil necessary to begin WWII.

NOTE: Replay or chance repeat of history in the St Petersburg massacre in 1905 or even better the 12 September 1917 when Civil War Breaks Out in Russia as Kornilov’s Army Marches on Petrograd to assume Power.

NOTE:  Speculation from historians is that FDR knew ahead of time, would have committed active duty troops to stop the treason, and have a mass slaughter, St. Petersburg worked once, why not again.  He would have then declared Martial law and a dictatorship.  Plan fails, and is swept under the carpet.  FDR settles for a war with Japan and entering the World war by setting up Pearl Harbor.

After surviving war in Iraq, U.S. troops now being killed by Big Pharma

by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor

(NaturalNews) They survived live fire, explosive devices, terror attacks and grueling desert conditions. But upon returning home to seek treatment for the mental anguish that too often accompanies war, U.S. soldiers are now being killed by the pharmaceutical industry in record numbers.

A recent example is found with the late Senior Airman Anthony Mena, who returned home from Baghdad only to be killed by a toxic cocktail of prescription medications in his apartment in the USA. As the New York Times reports, a toxicologist found eight prescription medications in his blood (http://www.nytimes.com/2011/02/13/u...).

Those drugs included painkillers, sleeping pills, antidepressants and a sedative. The medical examiner concluded that Anthony Mena died of multiple pharmaceutical toxicity. He was only 23 years old.

Big Pharma killing more soldiers than enemy combatants?

Anthony Mena is just one of a fast-rising number of U.S. soldiers who are being drugged to death by psychiatrists and physicians who dish out painkillers and psychotropic drugs with virtually no regard to their chemical interactions.

Those interactions are never tested in clinical trials (yes, never!). The position of the FDA and Big Pharma seems to be that the more drugs a person takes, the better they'll get, and doctors are trained in med schools to keep prescribing pills with virtually no concern about the extreme toxicity of various pharmaceutical combinations. Their motto is, "For every ill, there's another pill."

Now the body count is rising. Today, one-third of the U.S. Army is on at least one prescription medication, and many of those are psychiatric meds used to treat PTSD.

Think about that astounding statistic for a moment: One-third of the U.S. Army is on synthetic chemicals! Some of those chemicals, by the way, have been linked to suicides and violent behavior, especially in young males. What kind of formula for warfare is that, anyway? Take a young male, put a rifle in his hands and a psychiatric medication in his head, then let him loose on the front lines and see what happens?

An Army report says that 101 soldiers have died from toxic pharmaceutical combinations in 2006 - 2009, but that report almost certainly vastly underestimates the true numbers. Most deaths are traditionally written off as organ failure of one kind or another. Very few pharmaceutically-induced deaths are ever accurately tracked back to the drugs involved... unless you're Michael Jackson, of course.

It makes you wonder: Are more soldiers being killed by Big Pharma than by enemy combatants?

It's not out of the question. The 9/11 terrorist attacks killed just over 3,000 Americans. Yet, according to well-researched estimates based on published scientific studies, FDA-approved prescription drugs currently kill anywhere from 98,000 - 250,000 Americans a year (http://www.naturalnews.com/009278.html). Remember, that's every year!

Big Pharma's link to Nazi concentration camps

Over the last decade, then, FDA-approved prescription drugs have likely killed at least one million Americans and probably many more. That's approaching the level of a chemical holocaust. The last time so many people were killed with chemicals was in the Nazi era of World War II, when Nazi war criminals gassed Jews to death by the millions.

It's no coincidence, by the way, that the very same chemical companies that worked for the Nazi war machine are now some of the world's top pharmaceutical manufacturers. That's not an internet myth, by the way: It's an historical fact. Just Google the history of Bayer and Nazi Germany if you want to learn more: http://www.google.com/search?q=baye...

Or check out the role of IG Farben / Bayer in Auschwitz and other German concentration camps, where this pharmaceutical company relied on slave labor to churn out chemical weapons and experimental drugs used in human medical experiments: http://archive.corporatewatch.org/p...

(You won't read that in the New York Times, most likely...)

Fast forward to the present. Now the pharmaceutical industry is killing our young soldiers in record numbers. Much of it is due to the insanity that's inbred throughout the psychiatric industry, which has a long and disturbing history of torturing and maiming patients in the name of "medicine."

I strongly urge you to learn about the true history of psychiatry through the Citizens Commission on Human Rights: http://www.cchr.org/quick-facts/the...

I have walked through their museum in Los Angeles, and I've seen what psychiatric medicine has done to destroy the lives of countless children, adults and even soldiers. What's happening today with psychiatric medicine is, by any honest assessment, a crime against humanity that makes the casualties of war in Iraq seem tiny by comparison.

And now, even the mainstream media is beginning to see this truth. It's hard to deny it when young, healthy soldiers start dropping dead from following doctors' orders and taking FDA-approved medications. These are not overdoses, folks. These are soldiers following orders and "taking their medicine" as directed.

And they're dying from it.

The New York Times article on this issue is a great read. It's an example of stunningly good journalism from the mainstream media, and I recommend you read it: http://www.nytimes.com/2011/02/13/u...

The NYT, of course, probably won't go into the history of Bayer and the Nazi war crimes connection, but you can only expect the mainstream media to go so far on these stories. For the whole truth on issues like this, you have to turn to internet sites like NaturalNews which simply aren't driven by pharmaceutical advertising money. That's where you'll find out the rest of the story that the MSM isn't likely to ever report.

Are We Giving Our Soldiers Drugs That May Make Them Kill Themselves?

More soldiers than ever are on drugs that have been linked to suicide and violent behavior.

October 10, 2010  |

In 2009 there were 160 active duty suicides, 239 suicides within the total Army including the Reserves, 146 active duty deaths from drug overdoses and high risk behavior and 1,713 suicide attempts. In addition to suicide, other out-of-character behavior like domestic violence is known to erupt from the drugs.

More troops are dying by their own hand than in combat, according to an Army report titled "Health Promotion, Risk Reduction, Suicide Prevention." Not only that, but 36 percent of the suicides were troops who were never deployed.

The unprecedented suicide rates are accompanied by an unprecedented rise in psychoactive drug rate among active duty-aged troops, 18 to 34, which is up 85 percent since 2003, according to the military health plan Tricare. Since 2001, 73,103 prescriptions for Zoloft have been dispensed, 38,199 for Prozac, 17,830 for Paxil and 12,047 for Cymbalta says Tricare 2009 data, which includes family prescriptions. All of the drugs carry a suicide warning label.

In addition to the leap in SSRI antidepressants, prescriptions for the anticonvulsants Topamax and Neurontin rose 56 percent in the same group since 2005, says Navy Times -- drugs the FDA warned last year double suicidal thinking in patients.

In fact, 4,994 troops at Fort Bragg are on antidepressants right now, says the Fayetteville Observer. Six-hundred-sixty-four are on an antipsychotics and "many soldiers take more than one type of medication."

Of course, depression itself is a risk factor for suicide, so it is not always possible to tell if the disease or the drug is at fault.

But many believe the dramatic and tandem rises in suicide rates and psychoactive drug rates are correlated. "Intuitively, it just tells you that there's a connection,"
Sen. Ben Cardin, D-Md. told the National Journal this month.

Troops may also be taking Chantix, an antismoking drug so linked to violence and self-harm that Secretary of the VA James Peake was forced to defend its use, even in drug trials, before the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs in 2008. "If you know the drug induces suicidal thoughts," an unappeased Committee chair Bob Filner D-Ca. asked Rep. Filner, "Why don't you just stop?"

Even widely prescribed asthma drugs like Singulair and Advair are linked to suicide, says the FDA, and have been cited in young people's deaths.

And who knows what happens when the drugs are mixed with mood stabilizers, insomnia and pain pills and antianxiety and antipsychotic pills -- combinations that have never been tested for safety? In June Marine Times reported 32 deaths on prescription drugs in Warrior Transition Units (WTUs) since 2007 and said an internal review "found the biggest risk factor may be putting a soldier on numerous drugs simultaneously, a practice known as polypharmacy."

Links between suicide and even murder-suicide and SSRI and SNRI antidepressants have been long recognized. Of course, not everyone on SSRIs will be a suicide risk; but the danger is serious enough that the automatic and “knee-jerk” military prescribing of the drugs should be investigated.

Traci Johnson, a healthy 19-year-old with no mental problems, hanged herself during Lilly trials of Cymbalta in the drugmaker's own clinic in 2004.  Red Lake shooter Jeff Weise, who killed 10 on a Minnesota Indian reservation in 2005, had just upped his Prozac. And the Virginia Tech shooter, Cho Seung-Hui, was also on psychoactive medications, according to news reports.

Americans have doubled their antidepressants since 1999 so that 10 percent of the population, or 27 million, now take them. Suicides have climbed by 5 percent since 1999 and 16 percent in middle-aged adults. (The suicide rate actually doubled in Japan since SSRIs were introduced.)

In fact, the high percentage of civilian suicides on psychoactive drugs is probably the clearest indication that military life is not the only cause of the shocking troop suicides: In September alone, there were 18 civilian suicides, 11 murders, two murder suicides and other violence linked to people who were using or had used antidepressants, according to published reports.

A 54-year-old respiratory patient with a breathing tube and an oxygen tank and no previous criminal record held up a bank in Mobile. She had gone off her antidepressants.

An enraged man in Australia, also off his antidepressants, chased his mailman and threatened to cut his throat...for bringing him junk mail.

And a 58-year-old Amarillo man with no criminal history tried to abduct three people, killing an Oklahoma grandmother in the process. He had "an antidepressant in his blood," said police.

Also in the 30-day period, a 60-year-old grandmother in Seattle killed three family members and herself; a disc jockey in Bristol, UK set himself on fire; and an Exeter, UK man was determined to have stabbed himself in the heart. All were on antidepressants.

Finally, in the month of September, legal proceedings began against two mothers and a father charged with killing their own children.

Over 4,000 published reports of violent and bizarre behavior of people affected by antidepressants on the web archive ssristories.com reveal the same out-of-character violence and self harm in civilians that is currently seen in the military.

Twenty people set themselves on fire. Ten bit their victims (including a biter who was sleepwalking and a woman, on Prozac, who bit her 87-year-old mother into critical condition). Three men in their 70s and 80s attacked their wives with hammers. Many stab their victims obsessively — one even stabbed furniture after killing his wife — and 14 parents drowned their children, a crime seldom heard of before the 2001 Andrea Yates case. (Yates drowned her five children while she was taking the antidepressant Effexor, which manufacturer Wyeth (now Pfizer) "issued no public warning" about, says the Associated Press.)

Then there's the North Carolina pilot on Zoloft who sang, "I'm going down for the last time," into the cockpit voice recorder before he crashed his plane in June. And the mayor of Coppell, Texas, Jayne Peters, who killed herself and her daughter in July over the grief of losing her husband. Police found antidepressants at the home.

Why don't doctors and media outlets publicize the names of these volatile drugs?

It's a good question, said Gary Kohls, a Minnesota family practitioner, in an oped written after Iraq veteran Matthew Magdzas killed his pregnant wife, their 13-month-old daughter, their dogs and himself in Wisconsin in August.

"Nobody in the media has, to my knowledge, had the courage to report what the drugs were, nor have they interviewed the physician or his clinic to find out the rationale for prescribing drugs that have common violence-inducing effects (with black box warnings stating that in the prescribing information)," he writes. "Therefore nothing has been learned from this important teachable moment, probably because revealing the common reality of prescription drug-induced violence would be economically harmful for the sacred cows of Big Pharma and Big Medicine."

David Healy, a psychiatrist and professor at Cardiff University School of Medicine in Wales, has authored several books about the connections. "Prozac and other SSRIs can lead to suicide," he said in a lecture at the University of Toronto. "These drugs may have been responsible for one death for every day that Prozac has been on the market in North America."

And psychiatrist and expert witness Dr. Peter Breggin specifically called on the military to “curtail the use of these drugs and rely instead on psychotherapeutic and educational processes that have already proved effective,” in a recent oped. “There is “profound danger of prescribing drugs that cause impulsivity, hostility and suicidality to heavily armed young men and women under stress on active military duty." He also called for “additional research in the military and the VA concerning suicide and violence caused by antidepressants.”

Sen. Jim Webb, D-Va. has also zeroed in on medicated troops in Senate hearings this year, calling the fact that one of every six troops are on psychoactive drugs "pretty astounding and also very troubling."

And Retired Col. Bart Billings, a former Army psychologist who has also testified before Congress, said, "I feel flat out that psychiatrists are directly responsible for deaths in our military, for some of these suicides," in a March Marine Times article. "I think it's criminal, what they are doing."

Still, the remarks of Katie Bagosy, the wife of Marine Sgt. Tom Bagosy who took his own life in May after being prescribed the medication Neurontin, might be the most persuasive of all.

In an article called "A Prescription For Tragedy" in the current National Journal, she says that her husband told her before his death that "'It all started to get worse when I got on this medication.’ Looking back, that was the beginning of the end.”

Martha Rosenberg frequently writes about the impact of the pharmaceutical, food and gun industries on public health. Her work has appeared in the Boston Globe, San Francisco Chronicle, Chicago Tribune and other outlets.

Airmen Given Expired Anthrax Vaccines

October 28, 2010

Military.com|by Bryant Jordan

All Air Force medical facilities stopped vaccinating against anthrax on Oct. 26 after officials determined that many treatment centers administered expired vaccines earlier in the same month.

In a memo issued Oct. 26, Air Force Brig. Gen. Mark Ediger, commander of the Air Force Medical Operations Agency in San Antonio, said the stand-down would remain in place until treatment centers can confirm the vaccine stock they have is current. But Ediger also said that confirmation that corrective actions had been taken were to be sent to the AFMOA by close of business Oct. 27, according to a copy of the memo obtained by Military.com.

The only exceptions to the stand-down will be for personnel slated to deploy prior to Oct. 29 if the center can confirm that its vaccine supply is current, the memo states. If the available vaccine has passed its expiration date, the medical centers must follow waiver procedures set up by the Air Force Central Command Surgeon General's office.

Also before anthrax vaccines may be routinely administered again, the medical centers will have to verify that everyone who handles them completes a review of the proper instructions on vaccine expiration, administration and documentation, the memo states.

"This must include all personnel involved from point of entry of vaccine supply into the [medical treatment facility] through point of service care to the patient and documentation," Ediger said. Ediger's office is coordinating with the Assistant Surgeon General, Health Care Operations, as well as the vaccine manufacturers, about following up on patients who may have been inoculated with the expired vaccines.

Though it is still unclear how many Airmen may have been treated with an expired dose, the Anthrax Vaccine Immunization Program, or AVIP, requires troops assigned to high-threat areas to be inoculated against a potential infection.

The vaccination program was originally begun in 1998, but then ran into a number of legal battles as some servicemembers balked at taking the vaccine. Court rulings and injunctions essentially halted the military's mandatory program between 2003 and 2006, when the current anthrax vaccine program was established. The treatments resumed in February 2007.

Under AVIP, servicemembers not deploying to high-threat areas do not have to take the vaccine.

Veteran Suicides Outnumber US Military Deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan

Friday 22 October 2010

by: Nadia Prupis, t r u t h o u t | Report

(Photo: Ken Harper / Flickr)

More than 1,000 veterans in California under 35 died after returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan between 2005 and 2008 - three times as many California service members who were killed in conflict overseas, according to a recently published Bay Citizen report.

Investigative journalist Aaron Glantz studied the cases of Reuben Paul Santos, Alex Lowenstein and Elijah Warren to shed light on a growing trend among Afghanistan and Iraq veterans who have died through high-risk behavior and suicide after being discharged. In particular, veterans who returned home to California died through motorcycle and motor vehicle accidents and unintentional poisoning; in addition, veterans were two and a half times as likely to commit suicide as Californians of the same age who had not served in the military.

Glantz, who has reported on the Iraq and Afghanistan wars since 2005, decided to focus on veterans in California because "it's important to look at our own community. [Santos] was this young man that was from a community that was literally right down the street. That's how silent this epidemic is."

Santos returned from the military to his home in Daly City in 2003. He attempted to battle depression with a variety of treatments, from poetry to video games and, eventually, turned to psychiatric treatment. But according to Glantz, a number of bureaucratic obstacles prevented Santos from receiving adequate treatment once he recognized that he needed health care for psychiatric trauma.

Currently, veterans receive five years of free health care following their discharge; when Santos left the military in 2003, veterans were only eligible for two years of free health care - and Santos did not begin to experience symptoms until three years at home.

Keep advertising-free journalism alive! Please support Truthout today.

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and depression symptoms "don't emerge right away," Glantz said. When Santos did apply to for treatment at the US Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Glantz said, he "got the runaround," often being transferred among therapists and having to retell his experiences in the war over and over. According to the report, Santos enrolled in a study treating veterans with PTSD six months before his death; after nine weeks with the same therapist, Santos left the study, while his doctor rated him as having "no clinical anxiety at that time."

Santos hung himself three months later. "He finally got treatment, but it was too late," Glantz said. "Reuben's death was preventable. He passed away six years after his return, so there were opportunities for the story to have had a different ending."

Lowenstein and Warren never attempted to receive mental health before committing suicide in 2010 and 2008, respectively. According to the report, less than half of returning veterans register at VA facilities for mental health treatment. A 2008 Rand Corporation study found that only half of veterans who need care seek it, as many traumatized soldiers remain silent to conform to a longstanding Army taboo against mental health care.

"VA and DOD [Department of Defense] appear to have a policy for veterans called 'Don't look, don't find,'" said Paul Sullivan, a Gulf War veteran and executive director of Veterans for Common Sense.

Since 2008, Glantz said, policies have slowly shifted in a positive direction for veterans. "Under President Obama, the amount of money spent on veterans has increased dramatically," Glantz said. "Under President Bush, there was a real head-in-the-sand attitude. That's begun to change." But the VA has a lot of ground to cover to make up for lost time, he said. "We started so late in the game."

Specifically, Glantz recommends that veterans receive automatic registration with the VA, rather than having to seek it out on their own after their mental health begins to deteriorate. "Santos, Warren and Lowenstein should all have been automatically enrolled in the VA when they left the military. They should not have to fight a democracy to get in the system."

Overall, Glantz said, it is the VA and not the veterans that should uphold a standard of proactive behavior. "The VA needs to make themselves more friendly to these young men and help them come forward if they need help," Glantz said. "Out of one million veterans, only half are turning up at the VA, which means the VA needs to do a better job of reaching out to them."

CIA implanted electrodes in brains of unsuspecting soldiers, suit alleges

By David Edwards
Monday, November 29th, 2010 -- 12:02 pm

A group of military veterans are suing to get the CIA to come clean about allegedly implanting remote control devices in their brains.

It's well known that the CIA began testing substances like LSD on soldiers beginning in the 1950s but less is known about allegations that the agency implanted electrodes in subjects.

A 2009 lawsuit (.pdf) claimed that the CIA intended to design and test septal electrodes that would enable them to control human behavior. The lawsuit said that because the government never disclosed the risks, the subjects were not able to give informed consent.

Bruce Price, one plaintiff in the lawsuit, believes that MRI scans confirm that the CIA placed a device in his brain in 1966.

At one point, Bruce was ordered to visit a building with a chain link fence that housed test animals, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs and monkeys. After reporting, Bruce was strapped across his chest, his wrists, and his ankles to a gurney. Bruce occasionally would regain consciousness for brief moments. On one such instance, he remembers being covered with a great deal of blood, and assumed it was his own, but did not really know the source. Also portions of his arms and the backs of his hand were blue. His wrist and ankles were bruised and sore at the points where he had been strapped to the gurney. Bruce believes that this is the time period during which a septal implant was placed in his brain.

DEFENDANTS placed some sort of an implant in Bruce’s right ethmoid sinus near the frontal lobe of his brain. The implant appears on CT scans as a “foreign body” of undetermined composition (perhaps plastic or some composite material) in Bruce’s right ethmoid, as confirmed in a radiology report dated June 30, 2004.

According to a 1979 book by former State Department intelligence officer John Marks, The CIA and the Search for the Manchurian Candidate, an internal 1961 memo by a top agency scientist reported that "the feasibility of remote control of activities in several species of animals has been demonstrated... Special investigations and evaluations will be conducted toward the application of selected elements of these techniques to man."

"The CIA pursued such experiments because it was convinced the Soviets were doing the same," The Washington Post's Jeff Stein noted.

In mid-November, U.S. Magistrate Judge James Larson ruled that the CIA must produce records and testimony regarding the experiments conducted on thousands of soldiers from 1950 through 1975.

"The CIA has already claimed that some documents are protected under the state-secrets privilege, but Larson said the agency needs to be more specific," Courthouse News Service reported.

The CIA insisted discovery was unwarranted in its case, because it never funded or conducted drug research on military personnel.

Larson wasn't convinced.

"[T]his court rejects the conclusion that the CIA necessarily lacks a nexus to Plaintiffs' claims, and orders the CIA to respond in earnest" to the veterans' requests, "particularly because defendants have presented evidence that would appear to cast doubt on that conclusion," he wrote.

But Larson ruled that the CIA did not have to produce records about devices implanted in some of the subjects.

Gordon P. Erspamer, lead attorney for the veterans, told The Washington Post that he is still pursuing the CIA for implanting devices in his clients' brains.

"There is no question that these experiments were done but defendants say that they used private researchers and test subjects drawn from prisons, hospitals and nursing homes as subjects, not active duty military [personnel]," Erspamer said. "CIA said it had no one knowledgeable on this topic."

Erspamer noted that papers filed in the case describe "electrical devices implanted in brain tissue with electrodes in various regions, including the hippocampus, the hypothalamus, the frontal lobe (via the septum), the cortex and various other places."

"A lot of this work was done out of Tulane University using a local state hospital and funding from a cut-out (front) organization called the Commonwealth Fund," he said.

"We tried to get docs from Tulane, but they told us that they were destroyed in the hurricane flooding."

This is very sad how the abuses have risen in our military.  In past years boot camps were much harder. More physical, not to downplay what our soldiers are going through now, that is a very hard work!. To me, it seems to be more computer, virtual nowadays .   hence the mind chips.  when my dad was in the military, fighting was different.  But none the less, any less violent  This is a serious "hurting " event, and now trying to control emotions artificially has went too far. This is Jesus's territory.   My son in law is a Capt in the Air Force, so far he has not had any encounters with chips. Nor my daughter.  They are no different with their thinking, than  10 years ago.  My nephew is in the Army Infantry in Afghan.  when he was in for 2 weeks last month, he was his old self, but I suppose that would not mean anything..lol  plus all my daughters friends are miltary.  And when I do talk to them, they seem like all is well, business as usual.. but again.. it's all about the switch to control when need be.  The deceit of these upper level "chip pushers" are no more than a low level drug dealer, getting a young innocent newbie hooked on their wares.   In fact I believe worse than a dealer, because these soldiers are very unaware.
