The time has come for a final stand against the Middle East wars- Vietnam style.
A permanent sit-in around Washington D.C has to be organized to truly keep the anti-war sentiment in the forefront, which will inevitably force Government to abide by the demands of the people.
We can no longer be convinced by clever wording that a 'surge' or 'implementation of democracy' will win any war. It has been nearly ten years of war which is failing to produce any results, but has only assisted in creating more 'Al-Qaeda' cells.

The term 'Al-Qaeda' is used very loosely. The C.I.A are convinced that the majority of Al-Qaeda are somewhere in Pakistan. There must be many separate factions across North Africa and in the Middle East which would fit the terminology of being Al-Qaeda. The missions to 'root out' Al-Qaeda are expanding as new factions appear which fit the picture of being Al-Qaeda.

There is no real winning mission which will end Al-Qaeda.
The more the U.S and Allies poke around for factions which fit the Al-Qaeda bill, the more resistance pops up. Drone attacks kill very few 'Al-Qaeda' operatives and mainly kill a majority of innocent people in comparison.
And that is what creates more anger and generates more resistance to occupation and the drone attacks. You cannot teach people to accept the drone attacks as part of their liberation when it is the drone attacks which are turning people into resistance fighters in the Middle East and in other countries in Africa.

Anyone notice that Algeria, Nigeria, Sudan, Egypt and Somalia all have 'Al-Qaeda' terror-cells?
As the U.S step up their missions, so the numbers of resistance factions and fighters increase across the World. That is a real problem- creating a resistance expanding to many countries, impossible to fight and which kills more innocent civilians, both by terrorism and U.S drone attacks.

With U.S Generals at the top of command now expressing lack of support for their Government's war policy, perhaps it is time that those Army personnel,Vets and Generals who are now virtually against the war should band with the anti-war politicians and people to form one united movement of demonstrations ,held on a regular basis in Washington just like the Vietnam demonstrations helped to achieve the end of the Vietnam war.

The time has come to make a final stand, and only Americans can stop the war. If the U.S Government actually listen to their people and pull out of the war, defense spending will be greatly reduced and tens of billions per year can be spent on rebuilding industry and creating millions of jobs- which is the real way to rebuild an economy.
The rest of the Allies in the war will simply follow what the U.S does until then- like lost sheep following a shepard who takes them over the edge of a cliff...

No country can afford the war anymore, and we can only keep up the pressure against Government war policy. We should also be aware that media, lobbyists and corporations pressure Government to keep expanding wars to fulfill their own contractual profiteering. It is not just a fight against policy but a fight against profiteering. And the latter are even more stubborn than politicians.

It is now time for 'The Final Stand Against The War in The Middle East- Vietnam Style'
