Back to being a private once again.
Thats fine..but after 15 years in the us army..i don't much believe I am cut out to be a private again.

This guidebook is very informative. Thanks.  Question?  How come "72 hrs is the standard for survival   period?  I went through a bit of Kartina, and it lasted a lot longer than 72 hrs.  Heck nothing really started kickin in requarding mre's until about a week later.  Obviously we can get together the amount which one would like to have. But I see this 72 hours  in almost all the survival informatiom. Thanks

How  do  you  prepare  for  something  like  this??  Radiation  is  radiation  -  &  it's  in  the  air!!!  I  did  talk  to

my  doctor  &  he  said  it  won't  effect  Ontario...  But  he  did  say  he'd  give  any  of  his  patients  a  prescription  for  those  pills.  I  have  yet  to  see  the  pills  on  the  shelves  in  Ontario.  And  there's  not  that  many  people  where  I  live.  We,  in  Ontario  had  the  "SCARS"  scare  and  many  people  had  it  coming  from  China.  But  the  Medical  Staff's  were  quick  to  respond  to  it.  Some  died,  but  many  just  got  really  sick  (but  survived)!!  Many  people  built  "Bomb  Shelters"  during  WWII.  I  wonder  if  they  are  still  there?  Or  did  they  make  swimming  pools  out  of  them  -  who  knows?   What  I  saw  on  Jesse  Ventura's  show

Last  night  (The  investigating  he  does) -  scared  the  crap  out  of  me.  That's  another  topic!!!
