The long time activist Dana Beal was sent to prison last year.

Let me first say that I’ve had the privilege & honor (like I imagine, many of you out there have) to sit down and talk to him on a nice day a few months before he went to the joint and you could see the heavy weight that he was carrying around. One post cannot fit all of the trials & tribulations that that daring soul has had to endure over the years.

But if he didn’t he might not be alive and free right now (He still might have some time coming to him though).

He warned the judge about his family history of a bad heart but that doesn’t matter when all they want is to fill the prisons up with offenders of ridicules laws (meant to create jobs,funding,untraceable money,ect.) for cheap labor, funding, ECT...

But he collapse and woke in St.Mary’s, a week after he got a double bypass they kicked him out on probation. He cost them more than they were making off the old man (with all respect) but if it wasn’t for his sentence he might not be hear with use today.

His fight is unfortunately not over yet he still has charges in Nebraska. And there’s no way of knowing if Nebraska will give him credit for the time that he was detained in Wisconsin for those months on their charges!
