Last week, the Obama Administration launched their "We the People" website, any petition which garners 5,000 signatures will receive an official response from President Obama.

One of the top petitions so far is on the Pardon of Marc Emery. We only need another 2600 or so signatures to have an official comment on Marc, and your help would be greatly appreciated.

In Canadians news, the Omnibus Crime Bill, which includes S-10 (C15, C26) has been introduced as expected. The bill, now known as C-10 is currently in second reading before Parliament.

While we expect the Conservatives will pass C-10, there has been no indication of how quickly they will attempt to pass it. Please stay tuned to WhyProhibition.ca for all the latest news.

We have a lot of work to do fighting C-10, and we are currently working with others on how best to fight it. Please stay tuned and help us fight this horrific legislation. The media has been very much on side with us, universally decrying the crime bill as bad for Canada.

The drug war is heating up in Canada, but remember, our win is a foregone conclusion. The Drug War has failed, and we will eventually win. Stay strong, stay positive and keep up the great work. Together, we will bring an end to the disastrous war on drugs.
