Facebook user jailed for inciting Manchester riots
A Facebook user who urged young people to "put Manchester on the map" by rioting during the summer disturbances has been jailed for three years.

His sentence came as a judge said that organisers of the riots were just as guilty as participants.
Philip Scott Burgess, 22, posted a message on his profile page following the trouble in London, Liverpool and Birmingham urging people to "start riot'n" and "put Manchester on the map".
Just hours later looters began an assault on a shopping precinct in Salford, Greater Manchester, just a mile away from his home, before trouble spread to Manchester City Centre.
The widespread disorder involved scenes of violence, criminal damage and looting as an army of thugs took to the city's streets.
A huge police response was launched to bring the situation under control and police officers and vehicles were attacked before the situation was brought under control.
